HSE Video – LEV for Controlling Metal Working Fluid Mist during CNC

This HSE training video demonstrates how Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) can be used to control worker exposure to Metal Working Fluid (MWF) mist generated during CNC machining operations.

MWF mist can cause occupational asthma, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, dermatitis and other respiratory conditions if exposure is not adequately controlled. The video provides practical examples of good LEV design, enclosure arrangements, filtration systems and operational controls that can significantly reduce worker exposure.
